Property Type
- The TREK claims cover the partially drill-defined Trek North porphyry Cu-Au zone and the newly discovered Trek South porphyry Cu-Au target.
- Multiple underexplored Au-Ag-Base Metal vein prospects occur largely along the major NNE trending Trek Creek fault.
- A high-grade Au-Ag-Cu prospect known as the Toe Zone is believed to be either a Kuroko or an Eskay Creek type VMS showing. This has yet to be geophysically surveyed or drilled.

Exploration Stage
- The Trek South target is at the early stage of exploration: geological mapping and rock sampling is ongoing and has partially defined a >1 km wide potential porphyry system of epidote-pyrite alteration and scattered Cu-Au mineralization. An IP -TM survey was carried out in 2022 to delineate the expected core of the mineralization at depth; results are pending.
- Trek North was partially drilled off in four annual campaigns between 2008 and 2011 with a total of 36 holes totalling 14,675 metres. A non-NI 43-101 compliant resource shape was outlined in 2010/2011 with various tonnage and grades calculated (e.g. 40.8 MT @ 0.67 AuEq oz).
- Sampling of the TOE zone in 2021 confirmed the presence of high-grade mineralization, e.g. 2.3 g/t Au, 82 g/t Ag and 1.24 % Cu over the 1 m centre of a 4 m wide zone. No drilling or geophysics has been done here in the past. Detailed mapping, sampling were carried out in 2022; assays are pending.
- Numerous other high-grade showings last worked in the 1980s - early 1990s remain to be re-examined in light of current ore deposit models.
Location
- In the centre of BC’s Golden Triangle, 8 km SE of the giant Galore Creek porphyry Cu-Au project and 11 km SW of the proposed Galore Creek mill site. The partially cleared road route from Highway 37, 58 km to the east, to the mill site and on to the Galore Creek deposits crosses the centre of the Trek claims, between the Trek North and Trek South prospects.
