Press Releases

TORONTO, ONTARIO, February 7, 2014. Romios Gold Resources Inc. (TSX-V: RG) is pleased to announce that it has acquired by staking 3 additional claims totalling 3,459 hectares (8,547 acres) of mineral tenures in the Sheslay Valley area in Northwestern British Columbia, between the two claims announced earlier on January 27, 2014. The total holding of 6,239 hectares (15,417 acres) is over airborne magnetic anomalies which resemble the geophysical anomaly covered by the Hat Property where Doubleview Capital Corp. announced that it had recently drilled 0.32 per cent copper equivalent over 313.11 metres, and that it is of the opinion that the discovery qualifies as a copper- gold alkali porphyry-type deposit. (Doubleview Capital Corp. news release dated Jan. 20, 2014).

The five claims held by Romios form a contiguous block adjoining Doubleview's property to the north and extending to the south and east. The property ownership map for the Sheslay area can be found on the website, www.romios.com. Romios is presently reviewing the data on all its projects in Northwestern B.C. and intends to initiate exploration on the new claims and continue the evaluation of its other properties in its upcoming 2014 exploration season.

Romios now holds approximately 84,117 hectares (207,859 acres) in Northwestern British Columbia's Golden Triangle area where numerous mineral properties are being explored and prepared for development and mining, in the vicinity of Pretium Resources' Brucejack deposit, Barrick Gold's Eskay Creek mine and Galore Creek Mining Corp.'s Galore Creek project (a NovaGold/Teck Resources joint venture). Other nearby deposits, considered to be porphyry-type orebodies, include the Red Chris deposit, which is currently being developed, and the Schaft Creek deposit. The electrical power transmission line now under construction from Terrace Bay to Bob Quinn Lake will facilitate the development of these projects.

The technical information contained in this press release has been reviewed and approved by Mr. Mel de Quadros, PhD, PEng., a Director of Romios and a Qualified Person as defined by National Instrument 43-101.
