Press Releases

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(May 8, 2007) - The management of Romios Gold Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:RG)(OTCBB:RMIOF)(FRANKFURT:D4R) is pleased to announce that Fugro Airborne Surveys Corp has been commissioned to carry out extensive airborne magnetic, electromagnetic and resistivity surveys on each of Romios' nine properties in the Galore Creek area in northwestern British Columbia, located in the vicinity of the large copper-gold-silver porphyry deposits currently being developed by NovaGold Resources. The surveys, which are expected to commence during the latter part of May, will be carried out with a helicopter adapted to operate efficiently in rugged, mountainous terrain. Ground follow-up programs will commence immediately after the results of the surveys are received from Fugro and analyzed by Romios' exploration staff.

Data from these airborne geophysical surveys are expected to generate detailed information that will define high priority exploration areas, provide targets for ground geophysical surveys and assist in the design of Romios' ground exploration program scheduled to begin in late June.

Romios' Galore Creek Project hosts numerous intrusive-related copper-gold-silver occurrences which geologically and structurally, have many similarities to the area hosting NovaGold's large Galore Creek copper-gold-silver deposit as well as Barrick Gold's Eskay Creek VMS deposit 30 kilometres to the southeast.

The qualified person responsible for the technical information included in this press release is Thomas Skimming, P.Eng, VP of Exploration and a Director of the Company.
